Do Deadlift’s Give You A Wide Back?

The deadlift works all major muscle groups. Legs Back arms etc. However, no particular muscle is targeted. The deadlift is a great base exercise for building strength. Then you must add your routines covering every muscle group For muscle definition.

For wider back and shoulders, bigger arms etc, you need specific targeted exercises for each group. So, the 3 most important exercises are bench press, squat and deadlift. These will make you bigger and stronger. Now you must add your routines 3 or 4 times weekly for definition. For wide back, you need to target it in your routine with wide grip pull ups. But you must also widen the shoulders, so everything will be in sinc.

For wide shoulders, pull ups, pull downs and side lateral raises will target the shoulders, and they will widen quite well… Giving you that desired V shape.
