You need to eat complex carbohydrates. So I suggest a bowl of oats with a good helping of yogurt. This will provide the energy needed for working out. Remember, breakfast is the main meal of the day, because you do most of your physical and mental work between 7am and 1pm .
So you need lots of energy. After your Gym workout ,take a good whey protein drink, to help those worked muscles to grow.
For lunch, try some lean chicken or turkey with a helping of pasta, Throughout the day , eat snacks of protein foods like canned tuna , Liver pate on rye bread and some chicken sandwiches.
Do not sit down to prepared meals after 6 pm. That is very important, as your metabolism begins to slow down, you turn a lot of food into fat at this time .
