Caffeine is a nerve stimulant, so gives you a boost of energy, which can last up to an hour or so, or more, depending on your mood. During the day we get stressed easily by chores, driving work or kids etc, so much to do and so much going on, as a result the brain suffers overload and your body just wants to lie down, you are continually yawning.
You take some black coffee to keep going but of little effect , because your brain is burnt out. Coffee at this time can only make you more stressed leading to a headache It’s an effect of living in the 21st Century , I’m afraid.
