History shows us that around 21 years, we are at our peak, however, if one trains regularly. and eats a healthy diet, and is free from stress. Then this can be tweaked and moved many years into the future.
Stress is by far a big factor, which must be overcome first. It causes fat storage, depression, weak muscles and lethargy, and a feeling of usefulness. This must be overcome, and the way to accomplish this is to take up a hobby, interest, or other method of relaxation, something you enjoy.
After that is accomplished, take care of your diet, making sure you eat only what provides energy and protein, the foods your body needs to stay healthy and youthful.
